Dinner for Schmucks The play tells the story of Tim (Paul Rudd), an ambitious executive who has just received his first call for "the dinner of idiots," a monthly event hosted by his boss with the promise of bragging rights (and maybe more) with other executives to come up with the biggest fool. Tim's girlfriend, Julie, Tim finds it unpleasant and is committed to skip dinner, until it collides with Barry (Steve Carell) - an IRS employee who devotes his spare time to the construction of elaborate dioramas of mice taxidermy - and he realizes now that he found the idiot gold. Tim can not resist, and calls on Barry, whose clumsy good intentions send Tim's life in a frantic downward spiral, and a series of comic misadventures, threatening a major trade agreement, bringing the crazy stalking ex-girlfriend, Darla, again in the lives of Tim and Julie taking (or so thinks Tim) in the arms of another man.
PLOT
The owner of Tim where he works, once a month, is organizing a dinner with their employees. During the dinner called "Dinner idiots" you do a race, won the invitation which has brought with it the strangest person.
